The Government of Aragón has awarded Manuel Bailera, researcher at the ECO2Lab – Energy and CO₂ Research Group (I3A, Universidad de Zaragoza), the Aragón Investiga “Blanca Catalán de Ocón” Prize for Young Researchers.
Bailera, PhD in Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency, focuses his scientific career on the decarbonization of industry through the integration of renewable energies and CO₂ capture. He has carried out research stays in five countries, received a prestigious Marie Curie Individual Fellowship, and currently leads a project to perform the first experimental tests of decarbonization technologies in blast furnaces (BIOXSTEEL).
