Pilar Lisbona has participated in the 11F activities aimed at promoting the visibility of women in science. As part of these efforts, she visited “CEIP Recarte y Ornat“, the primary school where she studied as a child, to share her inspiring journey as a researcher. Pilar, whose passion for science has shaped her career, highlighted the importance of encouraging young minds, particularly girls, to explore the world of research and innovation. Reflecting on her own educational path, she emphasized the value of perseverance, curiosity, and the support of educators in shaping her future. Her participation in 11F serves as a powerful reminder of the potential for women to thrive in scientific careers and the importance of fostering an inclusive environment from an early age.
