We are delighted to share that Sofía T. Blanco Ariño, member of the Energy & CO₂ research group (ECO2Lab), has been appointed Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Zaragoza. The appointment was formally announced during the July 1st inauguration of Dean Blanca Bauluz Lázaro.
This new role reflects Sofía’s outstanding dedication to both research and teaching. As a Associate Professor in Physical Chemistry and an active contributor to ECO2Lab, she brings invaluable experience in coordinating doctoral programs and excellence initiatives. Her leadership is expected to strengthen the strategic direction of academic planning and promote greater integration between research and curriculum development.
