Join the Webinar: C5Lab @ TrANsMIT – Expert Insights on Industrial Decarbonization

Our colleague Sara Pascual Sevilla, researcher at the Energy and CO2 Group (ECO2Lab) and Assistant Professor at the University of Valladolid, will be a featured speaker in the upcoming webinar organized by C5Lab: “C5Lab@TrANsMIT: A Pathway to Connecting Knowledge, Technology and Industry”.

Why Attend?

The event focuses on the essential role of collaboration in advancing Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CCUS). As the industrial sector transitions toward sustainability, connecting academic research with industrial application is more critical than ever.

The program highlights the synergy between European research networks and sustainable industrial labs:

  • Strategic CCUS Overview: Introduction by Dr. José Condeço (Coordinator of the CCUS Area, C5Lab).
  • Strengthening Mitigation Networks: Anna Skorek-Osikowska (Professor at Silesian University of Technology) will present the goals of the COST Action TrANsMIT in fostering carbon mitigation technologies.
  • Real-World Application: Our own Sara Pascual Sevilla will share her expertise and “Experiences in the Decarbonization of the Industrial Sector,” showcasing the impact of integrated research.
