On April 28th, Sara Pascual, researcher at ECO2Lab, participated as a keynote speaker in the webinar organized by C5Lab (Sustainable Cement Production Lab). This international session was held under the framework of the COST Action CA21127 – TrANsMIT (Techno-economic analysis of carbon mitigation technologies).
During her presentation, Sara shared ECO2Lab’s expertise in carbon capture and mitigation, specifically focusing on the methodologies for techno-economic analysis (TEA) applied to industrial decarbonization. Her intervention highlighted how robust process modelling and economic assessment are essential for the successful deployment of CCUS technologies across European energy-intensive industries.
This collaboration reinforces ECO2Lab’s active role within the TrANsMIT network, a community dedicated to fast-tracking the development of carbon-free and sustainable industrial environments through top-tier system analysis.
